The Customs Clearance Team No.2 under Dong Nai Customs Department was established under Decision No. 4033 / QD-TCHQ dated December 27th, 2017. The office of the Customs Clearance Team No.2 is located at PDN, Long Binh Tan Ward, Bien Hoa City in order to better support the enterprises’ im-export operation. Accordingly, enterprises with im-export goods can take the initiative in time for receiving goods at PDN, especially goods for production, avoid traffic jam. In addition, the Customs Clearance Team No.2 will also help solve problems caused for customers who have been using services at PDN.

Highly appreciated the effectiveness when The Customs Clearance Team No.2 puts into operation, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee said Dong Nai has focused on development of transport system, logistics with ports, ICDs, bonded warehouses, CFSs, etc... in the past years to serve the production and investment of enterprises. In which, Dong Nai Port has convenient location as a key economic hub in the South, including Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. At present, PDN has been invested completed infrastructure and modern facilities, improving handling capacity and cargo transport, creating conditions for releasing goods and means releasing to serve the needs of transporting im-export goods by waterway, roadway of enterprises. This is one of the important links in logistics supply chain of Dong Nai province and Southern areas.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Tho, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Customs Department, said that traffic jam has often been occurred during the transport of im-export goods from Dong Nai province to the ports of Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, leading to long time clearance of goods. Facing that situation, implementing the instructions of the Government by shortening time of customs clearance, Dong Nai Customs Department has issued the Decision on establishing The Customs Clearance Team No.2.
PDN has a favorable geographic location to be easily connected to ports in the region by roadway and waterway. Therefore, the establishment of The Customs Clearance Team No.2 at PDN will create favorable conditions for enterprises in the area and surrounding areas, and develop logistics services in the area.
It is known that as of 2011, PDN has transformed the function from Long Binh Tan General Port into an ICD. In 2014, PDN has more expanded 12 hectares of warehouse, CY and a 30.000 DWT wharf.

With the support of Dong Nai Maritime Department and Vietnam Maritime Bureau, as of late 2016, vessels with a tonnage of 35.000 DWT or less can be berthed at Go Dau Port for loading and unloading cargo, meeting customers’ trend and demand, increasing the competitiveness of expenses, improving loading capacity. It is expected in 2018, PDN will continue to invest a new 30.000 DWT berth and equipment at Go Dau Port and expand more 50m long of wharf at Long Binh Tan Port to receive cargo After the movement of ICDs in Ho Chi Minh City.
