Being a gateway to the economic
quadrangle area (Dong Nai - Binh Duong - Vung Tau - HCMC), PDN has many
advantages in transshipping goods from/to enterprises in provincial
industrial zones and neighboring provinces to/from deep-water ports by
roadway and waterway. Since 2011, PDN has transformed it’s business form
in Long Binh Tan area from general cargoes operation to an ICD
operation to receive container after the movement of ICDs located in HCM
City. In 2014, PDN invested in expanding 12 ha for building warehouses,
yards and 30.000 DWT berth. By the end of 2016, with the support of
Maritime Administration of Dong Nai and Viet Nam Maritime Bureau, ships
with maximum capacity of 35.000 DWT have been berthing Go Dau Terminal
(the branch of PDN) for loading/unloading cargoes, meeting customers’
demand, increasing the cost competitiveness, and improving
loading/unloading capacity. It is expected in 2018, PDN is planning to
invest one more berth (capable of 30.000 DWT) with additional equipment
at Go Dau Terminal and expand more 50m long for existing berth at Long
Binh Tan Terminal to strengthen goods receivable after the ICDs located
in HCMC being moved out of city center.

435,738 TEU, exceeding 16% over the same period; General cargo handling
reached 5.674.000 ton, exceeding 26% over the same period; The turnover
reached VND 517 billion, exceeding 23% compared with the same period of
last year.
For the year 2018, PDN expects to gain more support
from Provincial Agencies to be the Logistics Center of the Southeastern
provinces.
